UNIVERSITI Sains Malaysia (USM) is the 19th best varsity for Chemical Engineering in Asia, according to the inaugural QS World University Rankings for technical subjects.
Sandwiched between Tokyo Institute of Technology and University of Hong Kong in the Asian rankings, USM – the nation’s apex university – was also classified in the 51-100 bracket in the global rankings for the subject.
QS Quacquarelli Symonds Ltd, which conducts and compiles the annual World University Rankings, said in a statement that USM was the only local varsity in the top 100 in any of the five global rankings, which were divided according to subject.

MIT recently agreed to establish the Malaysian Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (Misi) in partnership with the Higher Education Ministry and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).

apa yang aku nak kongsi pendapat di sini ialah macam mana rakyat America begitu sinis terhadap testimony beliau. Beliau berasa kecewa kerana kepercayaan agama terhadap Islam dikaitkan dengan jenayah pengganas seperti Al-Qaeda. Kalau anda pergi ke laman berita ini ada dapat lihat mereke yang memberi komen menyalahkan umat Islam kerana tidak memberi info tentang pengganas sedangkan pengganas dan Islam adalah entiti yang berlain. Islam mengajar kita nilai-nilai yang murni, tetapi kerana orang yang bersikap terlalu radikal dan fanatik terhadap kepercayaan sehingga menuduh orang lain bersalah maka berlakulah tragedi 9/11. Jihad yang besar dan mulia dalam Islam sendiri bukanlah Jihad perang tetapi Jihad melawan hawa nafsu.

sungguh sedih aku melihat video ini bagaimana seorang ahli kongress cuba mempertahankan bawaha kepercayaan terhadap Islam tiada kaitan dengan pengganas. Namun beliau dikutuk oleh Phillips (penulis blog) yang menyatakan beliau patut diundi keluar dari Kongress dan beliau terlalu radikal dan seorang muslim yang menyokong pengganas tambah Phillips.

Lihatlah Malaysia bagaimana kaum minority yang beragama Islam mempertahankan yang Islam itu indah tetapi umat Islam di Malaysia makin lalai sehingga ada yang mempersendakan agama Islam itu sendiri dari segi tersurat mahupun tersirat.

PETALING JAYA: A businessman from Kuala Lumpur became an instant multi-millionaire after winning the RM17.5mil top prize in the Magnum 4D Jackpot.

The man, in his mid-40s, won RM17,513,358 in the draw on Wednesday.

He said he used the forecast chart on the Magnum 4D website before deciding on the winning combination of 6282 (second prize) + 2251 (third prize).

Taher Nasri, 25, who worked as a sailor in Zwara, said his car was pulled over at a gas station by the Libyan army.
"They pulled us out of the car, dropped us to our knees and then shot rounds next to us on the ground to scare us," Nasri said.

"It was traumatizing. ... We couldn't sleep, we were panicking and running wherever we could just in the desert, just running as far as possible. We simply escaped from the jaws of death," Caruz said, choking back tears.

"We didn't find anything left — my fridge, my bedroom set, my clothes — they were all stolen," added his wife, Sana Mohammad.

"Everyone is carrying a weapon. I even saw a small boy carrying a gun," he said.
